This role shall offer the individual an opportunity to excel in the global markets space while establishing corporate and high net worth individual client base.
The role will cover brokerage and investment advisory on global market instruments, mainly derivatives on commodities, equities, fx and emerging corporate and sovereign bonds including Turkish local markets.
Key responsibilities:
- Establishing and maintaining existing and new customer relationships, especially in high-net-worth individual and corporate client segments
- Getting to know the clients’ needs, risk tolerance, return expectations and providing them with suitable investment ideas
- Keeping the clients up to date with financial news, reports and their portfolio situations. Assessing the market to devise investment ideas in line with strategy themes, communicating these and market flow through intraday e-mails, reports and calls to the investors
- Building up a trust based long term relationship with the clients / face to face meetings
- Dealing with clients’ requests and ad-hoc queries in a timely manner
- Following up with related departments operational requests and make sure that these queries are resolved and responded in a timely manner
Requirements:
- Relevant experience, preferably in sales and investment advisory.
- High degree of self-motivation and self-initiative
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Trustworthy, a good communicator, with a reassuring, convincing manner
- Well-developed interpersonal skills and ease of contact at all levels
- Results driven and committed to reach targets
- Strong analytical, mathematical, social and communication skills
- Established relevant client base
- Willing to travel frequently
- Holds relevant CISI qualification
- Advanced level user of Microsoft applications
- Masters degree in a related field
- Fluent in both English and Turkish
