What's a Customer Development Rep DO???
CDR's are that main point of contact - when a customer thinks GRIMCO, the individuals that come to mind are their Customer Development Reps.  CDR is that all-encompassing Account Manager role - everything from Sales to Service and Promotions, Problem Resolution, Special Events and Distribution.  As we are a wholesale distributor, much of our business is conducted over the phone. CDR's typically spend 65-70% of each week on the phone in the beginning.  Main focus is serving and continuing to grow existing accounts.
