Export Now, Inc. enables US consumer product manufacturers to export to China and sell their goods to Chinese consumers via the TMall e-commerce site (www.tmall.com). Export Now’s end-to-end solution provides a home- language, home-currency interface for both sellers in the US and buyers in China while managing all logistics in-between. Export Now was founded by Frank Lavin, former U.S. Department of Commerce Undersecretary for International Trade.
About the Job
The U.S. Sales Leader advises the Global Chief Marketing Officer and US management team with regard to sales and marketing to US exporters and promoting Export Now’s business model. The U.S. Sales Leader will be working in conjunction with B2B marketing and the company’s leadership to attract, retain and expand our growing client base of high sales-volume, consumer product manufacturers. The successful applicant may work remotely from the company's HQ in Akron, Ohio.
Responsibilities:
Sales and Marketing Management
· Establish and grow business and technical relationships, manage day-to-day account interactions, accelerate sales and market-share and be responsible for driving top line revenue growth and overall market adoption
· Build on the company’s B2B go-to-market strategy, business road map and execution plan
· Working with our affiliates in China, identify industry segments of consumer products that will outperform others on our e-commerce store on TMall (www.tmall.com) in China; identify and convert high-performing companies within those segments which will drive sales via TMall
· Build the needed business development materials: value propositions, elevator pitches, positioning, marketing materials, presentations, email pitches, and various sales collateral
· Establish sales goals, objectives and targets
· Recruit, train and retain inside and outside sales team members
· Work with key internal and external stakeholders
· Develop and drive C-level and field relationships across exporters’ organizations
· Oversee inside and outside sales efforts, managing a U.S. sales staff
· Attend and present at trade shows, e-commerce conferences, and export seminars
· Develop white papers/case studies/success profiles of, about and for exporters
· Understand and exploit the use of Nutshell CRM and other internal systems
· Prepare and give business reviews to the senior management team

· Mentor and develop the sales and business development team by managing work allocation, training, problem resolution, performance evaluation and building effective team dynamics
· Support the mission, values, and vision of the company
· Perform other duties and projects as directed by the Global Chief Marketing Officer
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
· Highly skilled in CRM programs (we use Nutshell), MS Office, and other business development related software
· Highly experienced and functional with LinkedIn, Facebook, social media in driving online marketing programs to reach small and medium-sized businesses
· Strong interpersonal skills, ability to communicate and manage well at all levels of the organization and with staff at remote locations
· Strong problem solving and creative skills and the ability to exercise sound judgment and make decisions based on accurate and timely analyses
· High level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results-orientation
· Proven, successful experience in marketing analysis
· Ability to work independently in a high-growth company with a flat organizational structure
Education and Experience:
· Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university in Marketing or Business, required
· Master's degree, MBA, preferred
· Ten or more years of related experience, required
· International /China, e-commerce, ERP and/or export experience preferred
