Sales Account Manager – Artificial Lift Systems
Wichita, KS
US Land Artificial Lift Systems is a portfolio of products including Electric Submersible Pumps (ESP), Progressing Cavity Pumps (PCP), and Surface Pumping Systems (SPS), in addition to specific engineering, project management and well monitoring services. Our ESP systems can operate in harsh downhole environments that include high gas-to-oil ratio production, heavy oil, high temperatures and abrasive-laden fluids. New systems also address the needs of coal bed methane, CO2 floods, and subsea production.
Role Synopsis
At Baker Hughes, the purpose of this position is to sell Artificial Lift Systems products and services to existing or new customers.
Key Responsibilities/Accountabilities
- Under general direction, develops and maintains customer relationships.
- Assists and train entry or junior level employees.
- Visits customers with sales and engineering representatives to deliver technical presentations.
- Assignments are broad in nature, requiring originality and ingenuity.
- Handles special projects as assigned.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent.
- 3+ years experience in related field.
Desired/Preferred Qualifications
- Technical knowledge of Artificial Lift Systems products/services and their application to customer requirements.
- Knowledge of competitive market in the scope of responsibility.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to build strong relationships.
- Basic knowledge of presentation skills and negotiation skills.
- Basic knowledge of commercial issues.
