Account Manager – Midwest Region

Position Overview

o       The Account Manager will be part of a two-person team operating in the Midwest

o       The Account Manager will be responsible for developing new accounts, as well continuing to develop existing customers

o       Development of new accounts is the critical success metric for this position.

Responsibilities

o       Work with the Regional Manager to identify, contact, and develop sales with new prospects

o       Work with the Regional Manager to continue to expand Kaon’s relationships with existing accounts

o       Make cold calls, sales presentations, and conduct demonstrations in person and via web conferencing to prospects and customers

o       Write proposals and price quotations for customer projects, software, and hardware

o       Work with the Client Services team pre-sales and post-sales to define and scope projects with customers and prospects

o       Source new prospects and leads in the territory

o       Work with members of the marketing team to qualify new leads and follow up on marketing-developed leads

o       Some travel required

o       Large account sales skills – being able to navigate through large customer organizations to identify key constituents in the buying cycle and nurture relationships that will lead to purchase orders, and build long-term mutual success

o       Focus on results – booking new business

o       Tenacity in sales/love the hunt for new accounts

 

 

Experience

 

o       Minimum of 7 years successful direct sales experience

o       Experience selling into large organizations a plus

o       Experience in making sales presentations (in person and via web conferencing tools)

o       Experience in writing proposals and price quotations

Compensation

 

 

o       $120,000 target compensation at plan
