We are currently seeking a full-time Sales Account Manager our Northern California territory: Butte, Lassen, Shasta, and Sutter counties.
Summary: Responsible for supporting the company’s sale goals through professional sales techniques and great customer service. Responsible for maintaining quality relations with existing accounts and providing sales and marketing coverage by performing the following duties.
Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Develops maximum sales potential through assigned territory to include implementing competitive sales techniques, developing knowledge of company’s products and services as well as competitions strengths and weaknesses.
- Builds and maintains quality relations with existing assigned accounts and increases account base and volume of sales on a consistent basis.
- Contacts customers via telephone or in person by traveling as frequently as necessary to meet and surpass profitable sales goals for the company.
- Creates and presents customized proposals and programs that meet specific customer requirements in an effective manner.
- Maintains prospects and utilizes company's leads to expand current customer base and follows up on all assigned leads promptly.
- Maintains updated organized files and goals in the assigned territory.
- Completes and submits weekly updates of goals and assigned account activities.
- Processes accounts receivable for each assigned customer and communicates with company Accounts Receivable Department for all updates and possible collections.
Qualifications:
· Bachelor's degree (B. A. / B. S.) from four-year college or university; or two to four years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
· Retail Food Industry experience strongly preferred
· To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Microsoft Word; Microsoft Excel; and Power Sell.
· Ability to write reports and business correspondence. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
· Clean and valid driver license required.
