Regional Sales Account Manager
Customer base will include the Northeast US region. Previous sales and/or engineering experience with precision machined medical components, implants, hand pieces and assemblies is preferred.
Requirements include:
- Ability to read blueprints and conceptualize the basic components required to meet drawing specifications.
- Ability to effectively present information to all sizes of group situations (customers, clients, and other employees of our organization).
- Ability and willingness to travel up to 40-50% of the time.
- Ability to work without day-to-day supervision, possess a self starter mentality, and effectively manage the Northeast territory to maximize customer interaction and sales results.
Responsibilities include:
- Identify/target customers with whom our company can develop long term business.
- Present our company's core competence in precision machined components to successfully generate repeat orders in the medical device market.
- Cultivate position relationships with customers at all levels of the organization.
- Manage commercial and business development activity for assigned customers.
- Identify and influence decision makers within various disciplines at the customer (i.e. engineering, purchasing, quality, manufacturing) to develop a path for new business opportunities.
- Negotiate pricing and effectively present and discuss technical issues (i.e. print specifications) between the customer and our company.
