Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Initiate outbound cold calls or emails to potential customers, direct and indirect, e.g. System Integrators, VARs, OEMs and Enterprise end users
- Participate marketing activities such as trade shows to generate leads
- Qualify opportunities, create target lists for vertical markets
- Consistently achieve lead and appointment quotas, produce reports as necessary
- Develop customer relationships and maintain/manage accounts, communicate product and marketing price, enter and monitor orders, facilitate credit issues and negotiate returns
- Bachelors degree plus 3-5 years relevant experience (Hardware background highly desirable) in high tech industry
- Minimum of 3 years of sales experience in the Server, Storage or Datacenter related business
- Successful experience in selling technology into corporate accounts
- Strong communication skills across multiple disciplines, cultures and geographies
- Track records of building relationships with senior executives and decision makers
- Demonstrated ability in the following areas: pre-call planning, opportunity qualification and objection handling, call structure and control, time and territory management
- Consistent track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
- Must have Microsoft Excel knowledge
- Multi-tasking and time management skills are a must
- Proficient in English, additional languages are a plus
- Experience in selling HP or IBM, Intel server solutions is highly desirable
