Sales Account Manager – Multinational Software Vendor! recruitment

My client a leading software vendor providing technology for low latency trading applications and market connectivity to exchanges worldwide. Its clients include some of the largest financial institutions. They are currently looking to hire a Sales Account Manager.
As a member of the team, the responsibilities of the candidate will be to:

•Carry out sales and account management activities with a business development outlook to the Asian Region (Hong-Kong, Japan, Singapore, China, etc...)
•Identify and manage sales pipeline in order to achieve annual targets
•Develop and grow the existing clients’ base
•Evaluate client needs and translate them into technical solutions
•Prepare sales materials and demos
•Organise and represent the firm at regional fairs and vendor exhibitions
•Prepare proposals and contractual agreements
•Report regularly on the sales activity
Required skills/abilities:

•At least 3 years of technical sales experience in Asia - ideally in trading technologies
•In depth understanding of financial markets, trading requirements and techniques
•Strong understanding of the APAC trading environment
•Target oriented and passionate for business development
•Strong negotiation skills
•Ability to work independently and under pressure
•Excellent interpersonal, communication and organizational skills
•Extremely motivated, eager to learn and adaptable
•Proficiency in spoken and written English, Mandarin Cantonese
•Immediate availability or with short notice preferred
