The Sales Administrative Specialist/Office Manager will assist the Manager of Sales Operations in the maintenance, organization, and updates of sales content and reporting for both internal and external consumption. This position will also serve as the point person for organizing and managing the needs of the Chicago office. This role requires sophisticated organizational skills as well as a working knowledge of pricing content; is tightly integrated with our pre-sales and post-sales consulting teams, and provides exposure to many different projects and customers across industries. Primary responsibilities: Acquire and consolidate competitive data through sales team and external sources. Aid in on-going improvement and maintenance of RFP and proposal response content. Ensure timely load of response updates into RFP database. Provide backup to Manager of Sales Operations in responding to RFPs Assist with Salesforce.com maintenance, including account assignment changes. Manage schedule and facilitate recurring team activities such as Friday Knowledge Sessions. Perform daily office management tasks of office distribute mail, order supplies, responding to office employee needs, etc. Plan, organize and manage special office activities and events. Ability to collaborate with Sales team, Product Management, GSD and other staff groups. Experience in office management and proven ability in administrative tasks. Analytical in approach with the ability to manage multiple, simultaneous projects. The discipline to work alone and the ability to work collaboratively as part of a small, high performance team Strong presentation and content development skills. Ability to think on your feet, develop and communicate insight. Self-starter; ability to excel in a dynamic and fast paced environment This is a full-time, permanent position. This role will involve frequent interaction with sales team and executives and is often deadline driven. The position also offers the opportunity to learn pricing best practices and product management content.
