Sales Advisor; Art Consultant Job in York YO19RL, Yorkshire UK
Bluefire Consulting are recruiting for an Art Consultant/Sales Advisor to work for a leading UK Art store based in York. Main duties will involve:
Providing full service to the customer, offering detailed advice and guidance concerning the artwork together with an after sales service
Meeting personal monthly sales targets
Contributing toward gallery monthly sales targets
Gathering customer details to increase client base
Using the client database effectively to undertake telephone and email marketing to existing and new customers
Build long term relationships with clients focusing on repeat custom
Support the Gallery Manager in building local Business relationships through networking and B2B marketing
Support the Gallery Manager in building in promoting the gallery effectively via online media and social networking
Sending client details to Head Office when requested to support the central marketing mailings
Distribute fine art collector magazine effectively and undertake targeted follow up calls
Support colleagues in the generation of sales as appropriate
Previous Sales experience and an interest in fine art is essential for this role. The successful Art Consultant/Sales Advisor must be able to demonstrate strong product knowledge and an ability to talk credibly and confidently about artwork.
