The nation’s leader in insurance agency outsourcing for financial institutions is currently seeking professional sales agents for commercial lines to join a growing company. 

 

Sales Agent/Commercial Lines

Interacts by phone or e-mail with small-business referred customers to ascertain and collect data on the scope of their business in preparation for insurance quotation(s) for new sales of commercial insurance products.   Serves as an intermediary between small-business owner and insurance company. Prepares and calculates premiums, invoicing and collects initial premium from new policyholder and maintain record of same.  This high-volume position involves meeting or exceeding monthly production goals. 

This job requires an Associate’s degree and at least two years experience working in an Insurance Call Center or Sales/Sales Service role or sufficient experience to successfully perform the essential functions of the job. Candidates must be licensed and have the ability to maintain property casualty multi-state license.

 

Skills and ability to utilize keyboard to operate a computer. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential.  Bi-lingual skills desirable.

 

Located in East Windsor, Connecticut, our client provides competitive compensation and benefit programs for these full time positions (40 hours per week). Schedule varies to provide clients with coast-to-coast coverage from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.
