J.P. Morgan Global Liquidity has been rapidly expanding its footprint in Asia, including the development of new local currency money market funds in RMB, JPY, SGD, AUD and CNH, in addition to international funds in USD, EUR, and GBP. Being part of the team in Asia, there is enormous upside business potential with clients such as multinational and local corporations, financial institutions and central banks across both pooled funds and discretionary investment accounts.
Main Responsibilities Duties
Provide support and analytics to senior salespeople as a core part of the sales process, with a concentration on Greater China region, and be involved in executing our marketing and communications strategies across the region.
Sales Analysts require a detailed understanding of our products and investment process in order to formulate answers to a broad range of client questions. The team also needs to provide information to clients proactively across the prospect base, and will have direct contact with clients as needed. The Global Liquidity Business in Asia continues to expand rapidly in Asia. Therefore a high level of flexibility and adaptability is required to meet the requirements for the position.
- Prepare marketing and sales materials for client meetings and pitches
- Perform detailed company and market analysis, together with salespeople, and become actively engaged in identifying new target markets and acquisition opportunities.
- Coordinate between Sales and Operations/Administration to ensure timely, quality, and proactive service delivery and resolution to client queries.
- Handle all forms of verbal and written correspondence received from Liquidity clients and our Sales teams, including RFPs and RFQs.
- Update product and marketing materials.
- Regularly interact with clients by phone or in person, including country-specific seminars or road shows, off sites / training sessions when appropriate.
- Support new product launches by developing both the initial market studies and assisting with product implementation.
- Assist our head of marketing to execute on a wide range of events and conferences, publications and communications strategies across the Asia Pacific region.
Skills
- University degree with good academic background
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience
- Detail oriented, dedication to accuracy, timeliness, and high productivity while working under pressure to meet deadlines.
- Ability to work on own initiative in setting and achieving objectives
- Strong analytical and communication skills, well-organized and efficient.
- Proficient computer skills - Word, Powerpoint, Excel
- Good listening skills and communication skills, strong language skills in English and Chinese (Mandarin and ideally Cantonese), both written and spoken.
- Licensed to carry on Type 1, 4 and 9 regulated activities
