Sales and Marketing Associate
AAA has an outstanding opportunity that allows you to progressively grow into a property casualty insurance sales role! As a Sales and Marketing Associate, you will be responsible for achieving assigned sales goals for selling Insurance and Membership products. This is a member facing position and excellent service is a must! Employees in these jobs provide outstanding sales results and provide customer service to members and others who seek insurance products and services. They educate customers on most effective means to access AAA products and Services across distribution channels. Employees proactively solicit new business and participate in promotions, events, marketing activities, and cross-sell AAA products and services. Work is performed in a values based and diverse team environment to achieve individual, team and Enterprise goals.
Main Responsibilities:
- Achieves assigned sales goals.
- Generates sales leads for insurance and membership products.
- Provides marketing support involving: business or community events, outbound calling, marketing lists, and cross-selling/up-selling of existing accounts.
- Pre-qualifies applicants for Sales Representative and completes after sale paperwork for final processing.
- Addresses members' questions and concerns relating to insurance and membership.
- Provides direct support to Sales representative(s)
- Responsible for partnering with assigned Sales Representatives and management to maximize sales opportunities.
- This position works with general direction.
- Responsible for handling complex underwriting decisions and inquiries.
Required:
- Demonstrated sales skills
- Strong functional knowledge of all AAA desktop systems as well as Microsoft productivity tools
- Seeks continuous learning and improvement
- Ability to develop, track and effectively follow up on sales leads
Preferred:
- Successful prior sales experience
- Personal lines customer service or underwriting experience
- College degree and Insurance designation
- An Insurance Agents license
