We are seeking an individual based in the New York metropolitan area to direct Konsyl’s sales and marketing activities.
Job Responsibilities
Your primary responsibilities will be to develop, direct and execute all domestic and international sales and marketing activities of the Company for all branded proprietary and private label products via retail, internet, and institutional distribution channels. As a member of the management team, you will play a key role in developing and executing the Company’s strategic objectives. You will be expected to drive sales growth by:
• leading the development of new products;
• creating product marketing plans and competitive positioning strategies;
• seeking out and targeting new customers and new sales opportunities to secure
new business;
• developing and maintaining customer retention and relations programs;
• managing the content and execution of all media messages;
• developing a strong sales and marketing team by overseeing hiring and training of all sales
and marketing personnel, establishing performance goals and objectives and monitoring
performance, and providing leadership of the day-to-day operations of the group,
focusing on aggressive and sustainable growth through increased distribution of
existing and new products.
Job Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree required. Master’s Degree in business, marketing, management,
pharmaceutical, psychology or related fields preferred. Minimum 15 years of progressive
experience in sales and marketing of pharmaceutical and dietary supplements or
consumer products.
• Availability for travel.
• Proven leadership ability to influence, develop and empower employees to achieve
objectives with a team approach and the ability to organize and manage multiple priorities.
Possess strong analytical skills for problem solving at both strategic and functional level
with strong customer orientation, excellent interpersonal and communication skills
and commitment to company values. Requires excellent business leadership and
managerial skills and the ability and desire to lead growth and to advance within
the organization.
