Sales and Purchasing Administrator Job in London, London Uk

Sales and Purchasing Administrator sought for trading company working with their metals and petrochemicals departments.   As the role will deal regularly with Europe, the Middle East and Africa fluency in both English and a European language(s) is essential (Spanish German or Italian). This is a growing business and the successful candidate will have the opportunities to advance their career within the company.

 

Some previous relevant experience would be desirable (c6-12 months).

 

Role

 

Liaising with HQ, overseas offices and customers/suppliers in Europe and other countries

Processing Purchase and Sales confirmations

Arranging and following shipments and deliveries

Checking, issuing invoices and shipping documentation

Chasing Customer payments

Assisting traders with various customer queries

Market research

Booking tickets, hotels, meeting venues

Ordering office supplies

Taking incoming calls, welcoming visitors

Filing

 

Ideal person

 

Fluency in English (essential)

Fluency/business level knowledge of Spanish, Italian or German

Proficiency in Excel, Word, PowerPoint

Degree level education

Some relevant experience in similar position advantageous

Knowledge of international trading advantageous

Able to take responsibility

Proactive and able to act independently

Willing to be involved in whole process from negotiation to payment

Happy to learn and to put forward own ideals towards improving efficiency

 

 

 

 

Salary Benefits

 

Salary: GBP 18K- 20K per annum (including a discretionary bonus once a year)

Commuter’s travel allowance: Up to Zone 4 (London)

Paid annual leave: 20 days per annum and UK Bank Holidays.
