Sales Assistant
Position Summary:
This is an opportunity for a motivated self-starter to assist in both domestic and international sales and business development efforts at 1010data. The ideal candidate will be interested in data analytics and technology. This person must be very outgoing, well organized, flexible and comfortable in a small, entrepreneurial-type environment.
This person will be exposed to the entire business development process in various industries and international markets. This effort will include researching potential customers and qualifying them through pointed discussions. This is a great opportunity to contribute to a unique effort and build a foundation for business across cutting-edge industries. This is a nontechnical position perfect for a great communicator interested in data, technology, and sales.

Competencies
Education Experience
- Recent graduate from reputable college/university
- Strong PowerPoint and Excel skills
- Strong interpersonal and written skills
- Passion for technology
- Data analysis/statistical understanding a plus
- Foreign language skills a plus
- Knowledge of geography and culture a plus
Tasks
- Research and perform organizational analysis on potential leads
- Prepare and review current marketing material and introductory material
- Utilize SalesForce contact database to record client/prospect interactions
- Communicate with professionals at various levels for introductory and scheduling purposes
- Assist in prospect pipeline development
- Coordinate with various departments internally for project alignment
- Devise creative approaches to develop leads in the telecommunications, retail, CPG, finance, and other industries
- Utilize various social networking platforms, especially LinkedIn, for the purpose of research and business development
- Handle inbound leads and respond to general inquiries
- Assist in presentation design and report generation as needed
