Sales Associate – Leading Hedge Fund Manager; $Competitive recruitment
The client are widely recognised as being one of the leading managers within the alternatives space, with a focus on systematic trading strategies. They are currently looking to expand their sales team and the need has therefore arisen to take on additional support staff. The main responsibilities will include:
• Providing sales support to the sales team in respect of both existing and prospective clients
• Providing a reactive service to Asian and European clients
• Ensuring that data and reporting to Asian and European clients is robust and comprehensive
• Collating and distributing monthly data to clients
• Dealing with all clients/prospects ad hoc requests
• Collating monthly sales figures and Assets Under Management
The ideal candidate for this role will likely demonstrate the following skills and experiences:
• At least an initial understanding and knowledge of the asset management structure
• Previous experience in a similar role within an Asset Management house, ideally within hedge funds in a sale support role
• A demonstrable ability of working with clients to resolve issues through communicating effectively and professionally with other teams
• Cantonese/Mandarin language skills are preferential although not essential
