In addition, this Law Firm Consultant-in-training position provides an outstanding benefits package, a base salary and commisions, and extensive training support. This inside sales associate position will evolve into an opportunity to manage your own territory with no travel!
The Inside Sales Associate promotes and sells West products and services through outbound telephone calls to potential customers while meeting/exceeding sales target. This position supports the efforts of the Law Firm Consultants inside by using a consultative and solutions selling approach.
Responsibilities:
- Sells West products on outbound calls using a consultative and solutions based sales approach
- Meets or exceeds new sales goals on monthly and quarterly basis by utilizing all West product offerings (Online research, books and software solutions) with a focus on new-to-online customer opportunities
- Actively coordinates with the Law Firm Consultants inside to maintain, develop and grow a rigorous pipeline, with accurate forecasting
- Captures and records customer information and sales activity data into our customer relationship management (CRM) system and other West business systems
- Obtains competitive information during daily contacts and distributes as appropriate so as to develop sales strategies
- Participates fully in meetings, training sessions, individual professional development and skill building
- Assumes other responsibilities as required by management
Qualifications
- BA Degree in business, sales, or related degree or equivalent work experience required. JD a plus
- Minimum of 4 years sales experience in a consultative selling environment
- Proven record of successful sales performance
- Ability to work effectively with a professional client base
- Ambitious self-starter with high energy and motivation
- Experience selling with a formalized sales model with a pipeline product
- Excellent organizational skills-ability to manage multi-stage process pipeline
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, changing environment
- Computer proficiency in Microsoft Office and aptitude for internal business systems
