The Saywitz Company is a national commercial real estate brokerage and consulting firm headquartered in Newport Beach. We are currently seeking a talented professional to our Business Development Group. This entry level position is an excellent stepping stone into the commercial real estate brokerage business.
As an Associate you will be assisting the senior brokers in business development while continuing to grow the client database. Primary responsibilities would include new business development and database management. The Saywitz Company currently maintains a database of approximately 60,000 companies throughout Southern California. All Associates maintain a noncompetitive, proprietary database from which they contact decision-makers with various corporations.
This position involves use of a computer and extensive lead generation phone skills. The right candidate will be dealing with corporate executives on a daily basis. You must have excellent communication skills, the ability to think on your feet and be detail oriented. This is a full-time position with normal hours of 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday. No weekend work is required. The company offers a competitive base salary of $25,000 per year. Additional compensation in the form of bonuses and commissions will increase the total compensation exponentially. The originating Associate receives a percentage of the commission that the company earns on a successful transaction. These commissions range between $1,000-$10,000 per closed deal. Currently the top Marketing Associates with the firm earn $80-125K per year including base salary, bonuses and commissions. First year total compensation for a confident Associate is estimated to be between $30-65K. Second year should be between $50-80K. The company is actively and aggressively growing and is looking for entrepreneurial individuals with the same goals and objectives. Any sales experience is a benefit.
