Macair, Inc. dba Komar Aviation Group is seeking a qualified individual for the position of sales and business development. The position will oversee the organization’s acquisition of new customers and sales development at the company, in conjunction with directives of its ownership and management. The associate will be responsible for correspondence and conduct research pertaining to sales and lead generation.
The individual will play an important role in providing corporate direction and strategy input, contributing market knowledge, sales expertise and details in line with the company’s sales and business development efforts and progress. Develop and execute lead programs and other promotional initiatives in collaboration with the Marketing Director and other management.
The sales representative will conduct a thorough one-on-one sales meeting with potential customers including, but not limited to corporations, local businesses, individual aircraft owners, charter operators, and event coordinators. Applicants should be flexible with their schedule. Travel may be required.
We are seeking a proven sales professionals with a confident, self-starting, high performance track record that reflects a can do attitude. The candidate would have direct sales and marketing experience, enjoy interacting with customers and networking within the industry and other circles, be committed to the company and the achievement of its goals. We require a candidate with effective writing and oral communication skills, the willingness to listen to the thoughts and ideas of others, and knowledge of office computing software. A college degree, office work experience, and the knowledge of general aviation industry will be favorably considered. A minimum of 5 years’ experience in sales and 2 years’ experience in private and corporate aviation is preferred.
