Sales Client Support Consultant, HealthWorks and Product Innovation (San Diego, CA)

Kaiser Permanente HealthWorks Consulting Customer Support San Diego, CA Kaiser Permanente is looking for a Consultant in San Diego for our HealthWorks, Consulting Customer Support team. The position is a customer facing role, working in partnership with the sales and account management team to provide strategic engagements with targeted accounts around Workforce Health and Wellness. The Consultant will be responsible for the assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation ofcustomer worksite wellness programs. Essential Functions: - Provide consultation as the Workforce Wellness Subject Matter Expert (SME) to targeted customers in partnership with the Sales and Account Management (SAM) team for the San Diego Service Area and Southern Orange County, with a focus on large group and strategic clients. - In partnership with the Sales and Account Management Team, provide book-of-business review at key points during the year, to identify targeted opportunities for Workforce Health engagement - Provide consultation to brokers and consultants around workforce health. - Conduct wellness presentations to customers and brokers. - Conduct workforce wellness assessments and develop engagement plans for targeted customers - Act as project lead for implementation and on-going project management, including follow-up items and status reporting at all levels. - Provide support and act as a resource and wellness SME to internal stakeholders - Manage joint HealthWorks efforts/events with SAM and Medical groups. - Keep current on wellness market trends and uses that knowledge to advance sales through innovative programming. - Demonstrate expertise wellness area and understand assigned and cross functional areas. - Accountable for tracking face-time metrics per goals - Responsible for prioritizing workload and tracking metrics on customer engagement and program implementation - Act as the HW liaison between business clients, Sales and Account Management, Product Management and technical staff - Identifies and coordinates within other project managers and implements schedule deadlines as appropriate. - Manages common resource demands. - Participate in all departmental and KP trainings as directed - Maintain a strong relationship with SAM team and service area leaders - Demonstrate good rapport and relationship building with customers - Maintains customer documentation and delivers reports as needed. - Evaluates program(s) status periodically and annually on an operational basis. - 30% travel mostly within state (San Diego, southern Orange County, and Burbank)and some out-of-state travel. Qualifications: Basic Qualifications: - 5+ years of consulting or account management experience, preferably in HealthCare - 2+ years of customer facing experience required - Bachelor's Degree in Health Education, Public Health or related field preferred, or 4 additional years of equivalent experience - Excellent communication skills both oral and written, with strong analytical and problem solving skills - Ability to interface and work effectively with all functions and at all levels both in and outside of the organization - Strong presentation skills, experience with PowerPoint - Highly self-motivated, with excellent follow-up and follow-through skills - Ability to prioritize workload and track multiple projects - Maintain effective relationships and provide superior customer/broker service - Professionalism, negotiations skills, flexibility, and diplomacy - Ability to analyze, apply, interpret and communicate policies, procedures and regulations effectively - Consistently demonstrates the knowledge, skills, abilities, and behaviors necessary to provide superior and culturally sensitive service to each other, our members, customers, contracted providers, and vendors Preferred Qualifications: - Experience in consulting, design and implementation of employer-based Wellness Programs - Masters degree in health-related field (MPH, MHA-) or business (MBA) - 2+ years in a consulting role preferred - A Wellness background- 2+ years experience with wellness programs
