- Manage incoming requests from sales managers, brokers and producers in order to meet Department service objectives and deadlines.
- Ability to make independent business decisions in response to customer inquiries.
- Conduct analysis of data, draw conclusions and document results.
- Ability to communicate effectively, both written and oral, with the sales organization in a manner that allows them to understand complex technical information while demonstrating ability to generate clear and concise communications.
- Solid technical knowledge of cross-functional business processes that impacts or is impacted by broker compensation and/or broker appointing and contracting. Cross-functional areas include: Customer Technology, Product Development, New Business, Underwriting, Account Services, Sales Performance, Sales Compensation Design, Sales Contract Administration and Field Compensation.
- Initiate and coordinate corrective actions in regards to payments and commission calculations. This includes adjustment and correction of commission splits between producers, brokers and sales managers. Adjusting commission rate schedules and verifying results.
- Manage and maintain commission account changes as needed from sales managers.
- Manage the administration of the laptop leasing program and administrative fees.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

· External Processing Systems:
Pending Contract Control (PCC) – houses all new sales collections and coverage updates to existing policies
Electronic Application Submission Data Warehouse – houses all electronically submitted sales where data edits must be analyzed and cleared for further processing
Group Information System – houses all new and existing account information
Policy Master System (POS) – houses all new and existing policy information
Alpha – houses all current and historical alpha records for POS and PCC
Sales Information System – measures and monitors case and policy level sales activity for each salesperson and manager assigned area, both current and historical
Document Direct/Mobius – houses all reports to support broker compensation, compensation error files and rate tables to support research and inquiries
DK Help – broker call tracking system
Customer Technology – sales enrollment systems, Harmony and Sales Automation
Qlikview - tool to pull data that is housed in DB2 tables
· Internal Processing Systems:
Distribution Support System (DSS) – compensation, license and appointment administration system.
Agency Main Menu – houses control data at both account and policy level that is used to determine rates, commission schedules, compensation splits, including hard codes and bonus calculations
AIRS – Agency research database
PeopleSoft – payroll system that administers disbursement and deduction feeds from commission and bonus systems
· ProducerNet
· Advanced level knowledge of Microsoft Office Products such as Access and Excel, data manipulation tools and text editing tools to perform complex calculations and manipulation of data
BS in Business/Accounting/Finance or equivalent experience
Colonial Life or other Voluntary insurance operating systems.
