Sales Compensations Analyst

Allstate has an exciting opportunity in Northbrook, IL for a Sales Professional. This Sales Professional will work with area responsible for the field sales bonus program. Our Sales Professionals develop, track, analyze and pay the bonuses for our field sales managers. A Sales Professional's responsibilities include: Project Management Tracks plan performance Communicates and presents project information Ensures project controls are in place throughout the lifecycle of the project Assists in determining where additional resources/ expertise may be necessary to successfully complete projects/ assignments Provides feedback on project team member(s) Secures approvals and monitors program, policy, and procedure progress Actively builds strong relationships among teams and team members to ensure cooperation on project objectives Evaluates current results, identifies variances to planned performance, analyzes causes of variance and recommends action Analyzes statistical data as it relates to basic programs, projects and processes of moderate compexity ; provides action alternatives for improvement as appropriate Program and Process Design/Improvement Develops communication strategies and materials to support new plans, programs processes Solicits inputs from key stakeholders Evaluates procedures and processes regularly and determines/ recommends alternatives or improvements Ensures processes are followed and applied consistently throughout a team Adheres to internal and external compliance requirements/standards Program Management Support Contributes to market share growth and profitability by recommending routine changes to sales programs and providing expertise in their respective discipline(s) Determines the integration and delivery of planned changes/projects to regions/field Understands and makes observations on market specific implications of business strategies Research and Analysis Intermediate knowledge in the use of data sources and applications to conduct research Identifies and resolves basic to moderately complex data issues Can analyze data and review analysis from others Performs and evaluates basic to moderately complex trend analysis Determines appropriate analyses to be conducted for projects to make recommendations to achieve corporate goals Functional Knowledge Continually seeks opportunities for learning and development of sales processes and programs within their respective discipline(s) Leverages understanding of current industry standards/ environment to impact decisions and indicate requirements Serves as a subject matter expert for their respective discipline(s) from an internal perspective Knowledge Management Trains/coaches team members or peers Actively shares expertise with peers Program Process Communications Develops communication strategies and materials to support new plans, programs processes Serves on a Sales department task force, committee, or team group as needed Communicates program, policy, and procedure objectives to appropriate personnel Interprets program, policy, and procedure guidelines to inquiries Provides program, policy, and procedure results to management Plans layout/design of Sales publications/communications Performs other duties as assigned
