AMP Direct is an exciting, rapidly expanding and energetic business aiming to add real value to our customers by servicing their needs in areas that may not require traditional Financial Advice. The team focus on providing suitable financial solutions to AMP Customers over the telephone in the areas of; superannuation, life insurance and risk products.
The role
Reporting to the Sales Manager, the Sales Consultant is responsible for providing general advice on a suite of highly competitive risk and wealth products designed to protect and build our customer wealth. Working in this result driven environment, you will have the opportunity to work with a team growing team of sales professionals with knowledgeable and insightful managers. Key focus areas of the role include;
- Provide general advice on financial solutions to AMP customers through outbound calling, in-bound traffic and referrals with the aim to increase revenue
- Identify customer needs through appropriate questioning techniques which comply with no-advice boundaries
- Establish and build trust based relationships with customers through robust diary management, follow up, and ensuring accurate communications in a timely fashion
- Proactively and positively work with the team and other departments to achieve business outcomes through effective relationship building
- Identify areas for improvement or innovation, and follow through on ideas to fruition
- Work in a fully compliant manner in line with internal guidelines and obligations, and external regulatory requirements
Your skills and expertise
To achieve success in this fast paced team it is crucial that you are equipped with the tools, experience and drive required to undertake revenue generating activities in a target driven environment. You will have previous exposure to work within a high volume sales role (60+ calls a day), a strong proactive nature, follow up skills, ability to understand customer needs and an interest for Financial Advice is a must.
In order to be considered you must be RG146, DFS (or higher) compliant in the following modules:
- Generic Knowledge
- Superannuation
- Life Insurance
- Managed Investments
You must include a copy of your certificates with your resume when applying.
