Sales Consultant / Interior Design
Position Overview
Custom Decorators, Inc. has an immediate opportunity for an experienced, energetic and talented Design and Sales Consultant.
We are looking for an individual that has proven sales success in the retail or home furnishings industry coupled with a strong sense of style, home décor and a passion for design. We are seeking a designer who can combine creative capabilities with sales talent to provide decorating solutions to clients.
The ideal candidate would possess:
· An entrepreneurial attitude and approach to selling
· Must possess basic computing skills including Word, Email usage and Internet searching techniques
· Strong communication, organizational and influence skills
· A broad knowledge of current home décor and style is required
· A detailed knowledge of Hunter Douglas window fashions and drapery or premium carpet is preferred
· Ability to represent our unique retail channel partners and their exclusive product offerings. Channels include; Leaders in wholesale, home improvement and high-end retailing
· Minimum of 2 years sales experience
