Our client is a highly acclaimed publisher on the business of sports television. Recognised as the world's leading supplier ofinformation, media and B2B marketing services to the industry behind sport, our client has enjoyed significant growth in recent years.
To further fuel that growth we are recruiting a Senior Sales Consultant to work across a portfolio of products. This is an ideal role for someone with previous sales experience, looking to further their career in the international business of audiovisual sport.
The successful candidate should have the following attributes:
- Previous sales background, in particular experience of selling high end content or IT products with proven consultative sales ability, a track record of selling business solutions to a senior clientele would be an advantage
- Good academic background
- Highly developed critical thinking skills
- Work well under pressure
- Be energetic, have a positive attitude to help drive the growth of the business
- Be pro-active and demonstrate the ability to work on your own initiative
- IT skills - must be able to use Word, Excel to intermediate level
- Excellent communication skills - both oral and written
- Understanding of business/commercial environments
- Highly organised
- Main European languages would be beneficial
You will be required to:
- Sell content licences
- Sell access to our new daily media and digital services
- Sell across our portfolio of specialist reports and webinars
- Sell conference delegate places and partnership opportunities (Sponsorship)
- Maintain and upkeep database records
- Work in a target based environment
- Maintain marketplace/trade knowledge and originate sales ideas/leads
- Attend industry events
- Be prepared to create tailored packages for our client and other services to key clients to offer optimum value
We require you to have experience in sales across all communication channels, particularly by telephone but also by email and face-to-face sales, ideally in a publishing or media sales background. You will need to demonstrate you can sell over the telephone in a confident, intelligent and professional manner.
