We presently have an exciting opportunity for: Sales Coordinator
SCOPE:
Reporting to the Sales Manager, the Sales Coordinator is an inside marketing and sales position responsible for, customer service, customer contact, maintaining the CLASS operating system ice sheets and financial records pertaining to ice contracts and spot rentals.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:
· Inbound and outbound sales initiatives for Ice Contracts, Spots Rentals Public Programs and the execution of Public Programs
· Maintaining the CLASS operating system ice sheets and financial records as they pertain to Ice Contracts and Spot Rentals
· Account receivables for Ice Contracts and Spot Rentals
· Special Event Host/Hostess and Facilitator
· Maintenance of the customer database as it pertains to Ice Contracts and Spot Rentals
· Coordinate Direct Mail campaigns for Ice Contracts, Spot Rentals and other areas when required
· Assist with Telemarketing/Customer Follow Up initiatives
· Assist with the Marketing, Sales and Delivery of In House Tournament initiatives
· Assist with the Creative of Internal Marketing initiatives and is responsible for the maintenance of all internal marketing material throughout the facility
· Assisting in the scheduling and monitoring of ice used by internal departments
· Provide recommendations for pricing of ice rentals (spot / casual) 6 months prior to the appropriate season / program guide publication.
· Assist in the maintenance of the website content when needed
· A central member of the sales and administration team for the facility
· Acts as backup to the administrative staff to cover breaks, lunches, bank run and handles the phones and front desk when required
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
· Creativity and innovation combined with excellent organizational skills
· Effective prioritization and communication while working well with Customers, Co-Workers Management
· Strong Computer Skills (Proficient in CLASS, Microsoft Excel, Word, MS Publisher)
· Advanced knowledge of Marketing and previous Sales experience an asset
· Solid background in a variety of Sports (Hockey, Ringette, Figure Skating, etc.)
· Graduation from a College in the Sports/Leisure Services Administration field,
· Proven marketing and customer service ability.
· Ability to work with a team and be a member of the facilities management team.
· Interested in working in an environment which is fast paced and always changing
· Experience in ice arenas, relating to hockey or other ice uses is an asset
