Sales Director EMEA – Payment Solutions recruitment
Role:
The Sales Director will drive the EMEA-based sales team in winning new and extending existing business in the Payments sector.
Responsibilities:
• Drive and develop a European sales team, consisting currently of 3 Sales Professionals and supported by a corporate presales team.
• Coordinate cross selling opportunities with the other product line sales owners within the region.
• Develop account opportunities and beyond SEPA market initiatives in the payments space.
• Identify new market opportunities and develop partner relationships at EMEA level.
• Own and manage the EMEA Payments sales campaigns
• Participate in regional commercial events, such as trade shows, conferences … both as visitor, representative and speaker.
• Interact with the Corporate and Product Marketing groups for the necessary evolution of sales supporting materials and activities to support the EMEA Payments go-to market strategy.
Requirements:
• International (Europe) experience in the banking industry, preferably in the payments arena.
• Previous experience in running sales teams.
• Previous experience in selling complex software applications
• Results driven.
• Capable of interacting at C-level with the banking finance community
• Solution selling background with a high degree of new business sales experience
• Able to address both technology and business users, combining the right solution, technology and business speech.
• Having preferably already a solid network in the market.

• Good understanding of the internal and external experience with product applications
• Friendly and efficient communicator
• Work on own initiative and as part of a team
• Fluent in English (both oral and written) and one additional European language such as German, Spanish, Italian or French
