Our client is an Established International Banking Group currently expanding into the Fund Services business in Asia. With a support team already in place, currently the bank is seeking a Sales Director based in Hong Kong to lead and drive the Sales activities for the Asia Pacific region.
Reporting to the Global and Asia Head of the Fund Services business, you will be responsible for selling fund administration, middle office and operations outsourcing services to Hedge Funds clients in Hong Kong and the Asia Pacific region. As a key business / sales driver for the fund services division, you will establish and maintain client network in the Hedge Fund sector, solicit and prospect potential clients, cultivate and further develop existing client relationships. You will develop short and long term marketing and business development plans, be responsible for sales revenue, participate in pricing discussions and negotiation of fee and service agreements with clients. You will work closely with the business heads on the bank side to leverage the bank's established client base and network for cross-selling opportunities.
To qualify, individuals must possess:
- A university degree
- Minimum 10 years relevant experience from the Financial Services sector with at least 5 years in a Sales role
- Sales experience gained from Fund Services Providers and / or Fund Management sector
- Knowledge of Hedge Funds and Investment Management industry practice and operations
- Working experience in Asia is a MUST
- Excellent communications with fluency in English, ability to speak Cantonese and Mandarin would be advantageous
