Job Description and Responsibilities:
- Responsible for sub-contract sales and vendor placements.
- Develops a business plan and sales strategy for the market that ensures attainment of company sales goals and profitability.
- Responsible for the performance and development of the sales team.
- Prepares action plans by individuals as well as by team for effective search of sales leads and prospects.
- Initiates and coordinates development of action plans to penetrate new markets.
- Conducts one-on-one review with all Sales Associates to build more effective communications, to understand training and development needs, and to provide insight for the improvement of the team’s sales and activity performance.
- Provides timely feedback to senior management regarding performance.
- Maintains accurate records of all pricings, sales, and activity reports submitted by sales team.
- Assists sales team in preparation of proposals and presentations.
- Adheres to all company policies, procedures and business ethics codes and ensures that they are communicated and implemented within the team.
- Development of innovative and creative sales techniques
Skills and Specifications:
· Proven ability to interact effectively with Senior Executives.
· Develop sales strategies, tactics and techniques based on the feedback of the customer and market environment.
· Focus selling message on needs of customer.
· Able to manage effectively a cross-functional team.
· Experience in developing sales strategies and performance metrics.
· Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
· Leadership ability, entrepreneurial attitude and a good team player.
· Advanced computer program skills like Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and so on.
· Strong training and presentation skills.
· Excellent negotiation and sales skills.
· Able to work under pressure and close deadline.
Education and Qualifications:
· Master’s Degree preferred
· Two years sales management experience
· At least five years of management experience preferably with managing 20+ employees and managers (onsite and offsite).
· Experience with sub contract vendor placements a plus.
