We have an outstanding opportunity for a seasoned Sales Leader that can help Highland attain aggressive growth goals and establish our new brand opportunity throughout the North American marketplace. The individual will have demonstrated skills and expereince in developing high level relationships with key customers,establishing and developing a national network of sales representatives and managing a team of internal and external sales resources in the accomplishment of our sales goals. Position Description/ Accountabilities
- Accountable for full attainment of gross revenue and contribution margin goals for Private Label, Custom, and House-Branded businesses.
- Accountable for building Highland's top performing sales team and developing and implementing sales model ... including staffing, hiring, terminations, appraisals ...and for structure of sales organization.
- Develops effective incentive/commission plans for all internal and external resources in order to attain quotas established.
- Accountable for department budget development and compliance.
- Accountable for timely sales forecasting such that effective product purchase and inventory may be obtained.
- Accountable for communication to Highland Marketing of customerneeds.
- Maintain and issue monthly sales report—pipeline report.
- Accountable for critical customer relationship management.
- Accountable for establishing sales quotas that support revenue plan.
- Accountable for competitive information gathering and dissemination to the organization
- Accountable for determining and implementing sales/channel strategy (with Marketing Manager). Identify core set of top customers (existing) as well as set of those that are high potential for Highland. Communicate with Sales team and work with them to cultivate growth.
- Accountable for identification of product or service opportunities in channel.
- Accountable for effective use of CRM tool across the sales organization.
- Accountable for completing and continually updating an annual Sales Plan as well as multi-year growth plan.
- Accountable for implementing/enforcing pricing strategy and price positioning in segment (with Market Managers) in accordance with margin objectives stated by CEO and CFO. Helps develop pricing guidelines and communicates to sales organization.
- Accountable for establishing any channel partner agreements for segment along with objectives.
- Accountable for identifying and documenting customer requirements (within segment) for product, pricing, program, package.
- Accountable for identifying all customer service requirements(internal and external) to serve segment successfully.
- Accountable for establishing an advisory group or other forum for this segment that meets periodically to discuss needs of the segment.
- Accountable for determining sales tools, collateral materials,etc. that are required from Marketing to support the sales process.

Compensation:
- Base Salary: $80,000-90,000
