About the Job

Our Client is looking for a new experienced Sales Director To identify, lead and direct the business development activities to meet current and projected sales and gross margin targets. To develop, implement and manage an agreed business development strategy. Your Main Responsibilities will be to: 1. To be accountable for achieving sales targets, tender success, product development, customer retention/satisfaction and profitability of all new business development activities. 
2. To provide strategic sales, marketing and product development leadership, direction and management.
3. To plan, deliver and lead incisive and value-added business development activities ensuring key objectives in the business plans are achieved. 
4. To act as the driving force behind the development and implementation of the business development strategy, working with the senior management team to deliver on the objectives. 
5. To undertake marketing, sales and product research and analysis and produce Strategic Sales and Marketing Plans, for both current and new market sectors, to ensure all business development activities are focused and optimised. 
6. To be responsible for initiating, planning and managing all marketing and promotional activities for the Company and its products and services.
7. To monitor and measure business development activities to ensure return on investment.
