SALES DIRECTOR (New Distribution Channels) recruitment

Our client is one of the world leading providers of health care, dental, pharmacy, group life, and disability insurance, and employee benefits. Aetna is one of the nation's leading providers of health care, dental, pharmacy, group life, and disability insurance, and employee benefits. 

Fundamental Components Physical Requirements include but are not limited to:

• Supports the Region Head of Sales in the achievement of the revenue goals for the assigned regional territory

• Assists in the cultivation and development of producer and consultant contacts in the assigned territory

• Lead the new distribution channel and implement the diversify channel strategy of the Company

• Train and coach team members in state owned enterprises (SOE), Direct and On-line Sales Teams

• Cooperate with in-house brokers of large SOE Companies and other local brokers to sale group business

• Cooperate with broker or agency companies with large quantity of agents to sales individual business to high-end customers and specific targeted audience

• Sale both individual and group business through Fronting Partners

• Follow up global referral case to sell both insurance and health management service (HMS) products / services to clients directly

• Follow up potential business opportunities by launching any marketing activities and to sell both insurance and HMS to client directly

• Promote and sell individual business through online channels (e.g. local and foreign web-sites)

• Articulate the Aetna Global Value Proposition

• Coordinates marketing efforts such as mailers, e-mail communications and product updates

• To take responsibility to always actively treat customers fairly (TCF) and support / drive any TCF initiative

• Other new distribution channel assignments from top management

Background/Experience Desired:

• At least 8 – 10 years insurance industry or customer service experience

• 4 years experience with account sales and/ or client management

• Fluent in written spoken English

• Excellent presentation skills

• Knowledge of the PRCE international medical insurance market and core competitive set

Educational Requirements:

• Bachelor degree or equivalent experience
