Role
This is an exciting opportunity for a highly experienced Sales professional to join our LD team in this Sales Enablement position for a period of 8 months for a maternity leave cover contract. As a Sales subject Matter Expert, you will work with key stakeholders to drive the planning, development and execution of target sales enablement initiatives, project management and process improvement programs.
Specific accountabilities will include the design and delivery of sales tools/templates, process efficiencies/optimisation, competitive analysis, product awareness/marketing communications support and mentoring in the field to equip the sales workforce for success.
Other responsibilities will include:
- Manage the design, production and implementation of a wide range of specific sales systems training, sales tools and communications to support the sales process in the field and increase sales productivity and performance outcomes
- Take a hands-on field coaching and support role in both the initial and on-going professional development of the sales team
- Contribute to the creation of role-specific sales on-boarding programs that provide the necessary systems, product and solutions training/coaching for all new team members in the first 6 months
- Work in partnership with sales managers and LD Manager to identify gaps, roadblocks to the sales process and achievement of business/sales objectives and opportunities to accelerate growth
Qualifications, Skills Knowledge
The ideal candidate will have relevant tertiary qualifications as well as a 5+ years’ experience in sales and a background in identifying gaps in sales teams and putting in place training processes and systems to address these gaps. The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate how they have previously delivered these training processes and systems to increase results and enable the sales team. Candidates with sales methodology training and experience in the Finance market will be highly regarded.
