Sales Engineer
Industrial Sales Engineer is needed for a storage tank manufacturer in the south Philadelphia, PA area. Relocation assistance is available. Must have strong industrial equipment and product sales experience marketing to petro chem, power generation, pulp paper and / or waste water industries. Tanks or vessels sales and engineering experience is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Work closely with Engineers, internal users and external customers for project and product sales
- Learn the product line, competition and end users and user needs, and pursue opportunities aggressively. Travel to sites to meet with and assist customers and potential customers
- Following up on leads and providing customer service
- Complete proposals, sales sheets, terms and conditions and revisions to agreements and terms
- Translate client needs to internal team
Requirements
- Must have at least 6 years of strong sales or sales engineering experience with sale of steel tanks or vessels, or 10 years of combined experience with sales, engineering or estimating projects for sales of design / fabrication of equipment for construction of Industrial Projects
- Must have experience with proposal writing have strong comprehension of specifications and drawings
- Must be able to travel to sites and meet customers in the northeastern and eastern USA
- Engineering knowledge along with demonstrated experience of design / build construction for industrial process type plants (ie Petro-Chem, Pulp Paper, Power Gen, etc)
- Understanding of scheduling software used for projects
- Engineering and technical training and industry knowledge is needed. Four year engineering degree is preferred
