Sales Engineer, Technical Sales Engineer, Internal Account Manager, Inside Sales Exec, Internal Sales Exec, selling data communications (infrastructure, gateway and conversion products) broader engineering solutions, based Brighton, Sussex. Excellent package and benefits depending on experience i.e would suit experienced data comms sales professional OR Graduate ability aspiring consultative technical sales professional.
My client has gained unrivalled experience in the manufacture and distribution of products and systems for industrial applications, data communications and computer based measurement and automation systems. Due to expansion they currently seek new sales engineer professionals.
You will sell products by building strong relationships within our existing customer base and by identifying new opportunities, work as part of the business team with Product Management, Purchasing and Technical Support personnel, to ensure a full sales, support and service offering is provided to our customers, ensure that team and individual sales targets and objectives are achieved and exceeded, accept and process all incoming enquiries, formulate solutions, quotations and responses within customer-defined time scales with timely follow up bringing them to a positive conclusion, ensure customer orders, enquiries, quotations and contact information are entered accurately and promptly to the computer system.
You will also visit key customers, as required, to develop business opportunities. Attend exhibitions and PR functions, and be prepared to travel within the UK and overseas on business, as requested, ensure that your product, technical and market knowledge is kept up to date.
Person specification; proven sales track record, data communications technical knowledge with capacity to learn my clients product and services offerings, good organisational and communication skills.
Ideally a technical qualification or previous experience gained in a relevant subject or market.
