Our client is a leading manufacturer of Lighting Management Systems for office buildings: with nearly 50years experience in the building controls sector they have supplied control systems for many landmark UK and international projects including the Swiss Re Tower (The Gherkin) in London and the iconic Emirates Towers in Dubai.
The company sell the concept of their systems to electrical and building-services consultants and sell the equipment to electrical contractors.
The role involves visiting and liaising with electrical consultants and contractors to guide projects from initial concept and detailed design through the tender process, preparing quotations and project submittals, and negotiating with the winning contractor to successfully secure the contract. The role also involves fostering relationships with consultants and contractors so that the company is their preferred partner for lighting management projects.
Our ideal candidates will be a customer focused and innovative self-starter with a strong inclination to see goals accomplished and on time, you will be qualified with a degree or equivalent in electrical engineering. A proven record in the selling of technical systems to consultants/electrical contractors is a requirement, and a background in electrical installation and practices is preferred.
