Job Purpose:
Provides pre and post-sale technical support by delivering product presentations and demonstrations; developing prototypes; evaluating customer readiness; conducting product training; identifying and resolving application or environmental issues.

Looking for experienced, enthusiastic, and motivated individuals with good business discipline and strong technical and sales ability to join our team. The successful candidate must have strong interpersonal and VOIP / Technical skills be able to multi-task, and have good computer skills. As an Enterprise Sales Engineer, you will be responsible for the full sales life cycle from a technical perspective, including pre sales process, installation and configuration as well as troubleshooting. You must be comfortable with responding to RFPs and writing concise, accurate responses in consultation with other departments inside WVT Communications Group and the sales representative involved in the sale.
Duties:
* Contributes to sales team effort by delivering technical presentations and demonstrations; developing prototypes; supporting proof-of-concept efforts; accomplishing related results as needed.
* Identifies application or environmental issues by Installing evaluation equipment; developing and implementing checklist to determine client readiness.
* Provides technical support to clients by maintaining remote account system access for clients; developing training tools; assisting in system analysis.
* Identifies sales requirements by establishing personal rapport with persons in the position to understand service requirements.
* Maintains quality service by following organization standards.
* Prepares reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information.
* Maintains technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing publications.
* Maintains equipment and systems by designing, implementing, and maintaining technical equipment.
Skills/Qualifications:
Problem Solving, Verbal Communication, General Programming Skills, Presenting Technical Information, Product Knowledge, Selling to Customer Needs, Technical Understanding, Technical Leadership, Large System Implementation, Software Requirements, ERP Implementation.
KEY REQUIREMENTS:
- Telecommunications /or Technology industry background.
- LAN/WAN- strong and current knowledge and experience.
- Computer Networking and trouble shooting skills- strong and demonstrated experience.
- SIP VoIP- working knowledge
- Communications- Experience using public speaking, training and communications skills. Ability to effectively communicate with all levels of a corporation- both internal and external communications necessary.
- Travel- Requires 50% travel from one's homebase. (Clients are in 2 hour radius of each office.)
- Prefer- Candidates within 2 hour radius of Philadelphia market.
- Prefer- Candidates with prior exposure to Sales processes.
