Responsibities:
Sells the company�s products or services in the field. Calls on prospective customers, providing technical and administrative product information and/or demonstrations, and quotes appropriate customer prices. Responsible for meeting assigned sales quota. May provide guidance to less experienced salespersons. Represents the company to the customer and the customer to the company in sales related matters; understanding of customer�s business and product requirements is necessary. Fully knowledgeable about company products. Responsible for selling the company�s products or services to and maintaining relationships with existing named accounts. Develops new accounts and/or expands existing accounts within an established geographic territory. Interfaces with appropriate internal departments (engineering, customer service, marketing, operations, purchasing, etc.) as needed. Requires a Bachelor�s degree in Sales, Marketing, Engineering, or appropriate field and typically at least three years of progressive sales experience.
Requirement:
Key tasks of the job:
- Follow the main project opportunities in Chile based on the current list of more than 50 projects identified with 115 Busd investment for the next 5 years in Chile (mainly Mining and Wind projects).
- Work with Main Engineering companies like Fluor, Bechtel, Aker and project construction contractors to generate demand specify TE products by Presentations, Seminars, Customer Visits, etc.
- Create an implement a consistent action plan with focus on projects with the goal to double sales in 3 years increasing Project win hit rate and expanding product mix sales.
- Based on customer feedback, provide input to TE product management and Engineering in expanding and enhancing current product portfolio.
- Get the knowledge of the main competitors, Market prices, average required lead times, technologies accepted in regards TE Energy products.
Qualifications specialist training required:
- Degree: Strongly Desire for an Electrical or Mechanical Engineer, if possible complemented by a degree in Administration or MBA focused program.
- Foreign Language : Fluent in English and Spanish
- Skills : Capable to give technical and sales presentations / good communication. Must be capable to specify products and discuss technically with the customer applications, data, etc. Strong technical background required. Also able to carry out field demonstrations of products and customers hands-on training.
Experience required:
- Experience: Overall experience not less than 5 years- and at least 3 years experience in Project Sales. Previous experience with Engineering companies like Bechtel, Fluor and Electrical Contractors.
Particular skill / aptitude required:
- Product and Industry knowledge.
- Self motivated and ability to work with minimal supervision.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Straightforward, personable, active.
- Desire to work in a growth oriented environment.
- Previous experience in MNC´s would be desirable, to fully understand Ethics FCPA themes.
