Sales Engineer Manager - Direct Hire - Wixom, MI
We have a client in Wixom, Michigan seeking a Sales Engineer at a manager level. The client engineer and sell spark plugs in the automotive (OEMs) industry. The parent company is from Japan. Salary range is 73 to 80K in base. Overall Job Description: Responsible for sales for the account. Act as s ales liaison between home office from Japan and USA. Develop and maintain strong working relationship with customers. Develop and implement sales strategy for the account. Resolve customer sales and logistic problems and issues. Generate sales forecasts and sales reports. Negotiate sales contracts and design and process changes with customer representing the company. Negotiate for warranty issues. Monitor customer application development and plan and implement necessary sales activities. Analyze and report critical customer information in a timely manner. Resolve account receivable and logistics issues. Train and oversee account executives. Utilize customer websites and other software to perform daily job duties (web quotation, respond to capacity studies, etc.) Ensure TS16949 and J-Sox compliance as applicable. Perform extensive job-related travel. Adhere to all company policies and procedures and will adhere to all company policies relating to TS16949 and ISO14000.
