Job Description:

We are a growing Process Equipment Company that specializes in Condensers, Feedwater Heaters and Heat Exchangers for Domestic and International EPC and EC firms. We are currently hiring for a Senior Sales and Applications Engineer for our headquarters in Los Angeles. If you are looking for a stable company where you can grow and retire with, please read on!

What you will need for this position:
- 5+ years experience as a Sales and Applications Engineer
- Oil Gas, Petrochemical, Nuclear, Refinery, Power Generation experience
- Ability to write proposals from start to finish
- The successful candidate will work in an engineer-to-order environment, accepting customer specifications and then making a technical and (at option of supervisor) commercial offer to the customer to provide such equipment.
- Frequently communicate with customer and will occasionally travel to the customer for technical and commercial discussions.
- Skills for using CAD software, especially AutoCAD and/or SolidWorks, is desirable although proficiency is not required.
- Bachelors Degree

What you will be doing:
-Interpret customers specifications, including communicating with customer to clarify incomplete or confusing information.
- Thermally and mechanical design equipment then estimate the cost to build it using good judgment and in an accurate manner.
- Be knowledgeable of the industry into which the equipment is offered.
- At option of supervisor, preparation and submission of proposal to customer.
- After order, prepare specification documents to fully describe the equipment to Design Engineering.
- Quickly and accurately answer customers questions about units offered for sale.
- Support Sales in its efforts to gain orders from customers; for example, be available to answer technical questions at final negotiations.
- Suggest and implement changes in product design to increase capability and lessen cost for manufacture.
