This leading Media brand is seeking a Sales Executive to join the Sydney team. The role will involve pitching to and negotiating with Media agencies . The ideal candidate will enjoy interacting with clients and have previous sales experience (within the media industry advantageous). A competitive salary + commission plan is on offer to the successful candidate and the opportunity to work with a dynamic media company.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build relationships with existing clients and;
- Identify new business prospects and opportunities
- Negotiating deals/rates and identifying opportunities to up-sell.
- Deliver on set revenue targets
Key Requirements:
- 1-3 years experience in a sales environment
- The ideal candidate will come from a Media sales background, however consideration will be given to candidates who have sales experience in another industry
- Excellent communication, relationship management and presentation skills
- Have a passion for winning business, meeting people and overachieving on sales targets
- Possess a positive attitude, enjoy getting out and building relationships with clients
