Position Description:

SunGard's Global Trading business provides multi-asset, front-to-back trading solutions, including order management, advanced execution, smart order routing, clearing and settlement, as well as market connectivity and information services. It delivers solutions for all listed asset classes from equities, fixed income, derivatives and commodities to FX.
The Sales Executive MarketMap Germany is responsible for all sales activities in assigned accounts in Germany.
The Sales Executive will manage quality and consistency of product and service delivery as well as maintain existing client base. The Executive will report to the Germany Sales Leader, based in Frankfurt.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES ARE:
1. Present and sell SunGard MarketMap products and services to current and potential clients.
2. Prepare action plans and schedules to identify specific targets and to project the number of contacts to be made.
3. Follow up on new leads and referrals resulting from field activity.
4. Identify sales prospects and contact these and other accounts as assigned.
5. Prepare presentations, proposals and sales contracts.
6. Establish and maintain current client and potential client relations.
7. Identify and help resolve client concerns, liaising with the support team.
8. Maintain SalesForce up to date to ensure a transparent picture at any time.
9. Communicate new product and service opportunities, special developments, information, or feedback gathered through field activity to appropriate company staff.
10. Other duties as may be assigned from time to time.
ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES ARE:
1. Participate in marketing events such as seminars, trade shows, and telemarketing events.
2. Follow-up for collection of payment if assistance is required by the Admin Department
3. Provide training to new MarketMap users.
4. Provide on-the-job training to new sales employees.
Position Requirements:
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS
1. Solid knowledge of the Financial markets in general and the German markets in particular
2. Fluency in German and English
3. Ability to persuade and influence others. Ability to develop and deliver presentations. Ability to create, compose, and edit written materials. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Knowledge of advertising and sales promotion techniques.
4. Visibility requires maintaining a professional appearance and providing a positive company image to the public.
5. Work requires significant local travel to current and potential clients.
6. Work requires willingness to work a flexible schedule and occasional overnight travel.
