Sales Executive recruitment

 An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a new start up asset manager in the Exchange Traded Product (ETP) space. The start-up has been set up by 2 experienced asset manager entrepreneurs who have a strong track record in the ETP space. This person will have a pivotal role in helping set up the business from scratch and be instrumental in helping develop then launching the new and exciting brand. Post launch the focus will be on establishing the brand as a market and thought leader. The ideal person would be someone who thrives in a naturally dynamic company in start-up and launch phases.

Sales functions:

• The focus of the sales process will be to sell the firms ETPs to investment intermediaries such as:

o   private bankers

o   stock brokers

o   institutional asset managers

o   hedge fund managers

o   on-line brokers including equities, cfds, spread betters

o   IFAs

• This person will deliver a company product pitch face to face with the intermediaries and take the client from introduction to purchase of the products and then account management once invested

• Initially the focus will be on building a database of potential customers by arranging meetings in order to pitch the company’s product offering

• The role will underpin the company’s marketing strategy and support this by generating clients to sign up to conference calls and face to face conferences

Sales Experience Required:

• 2 to 3 years post graduate financial sales experience

• Researching target customer groups

• Cold calling prospective clients

• Arranging and delivering sales pitches to one or many potential customers

• Develop a sales pipeline and systematically follow up to maximise sales and assets under management growth retention

• Use of CRM systems other forms of client reporting

• Good PC skills – MS Word, Excel Powerpoint
