Sales Executive /Trading

ROLE
· This role will be managing a portfolio of clients in Germany who are active in European Energy Trading. As the clients’ key commercial point of contact, you will focus on developing a strong regional network of relationships.
· You will be responsible identifying client needs and recommending / proposing solutions. You will understand what this region’s biggest concerns are and become a trusted point of contact across the clients and the region.
· You will be responsible for lead generation within the existing client base, adopting a consultative sales approach.
· You will understand the client’s business and continue to be an innovative solution provider within the European Energy trading market.
· You will grow revenue within your portfolio of existing clients by increasing the usage of the products and services. You will fully manage the pipeline and sales process of new products, including commercial and contract negotiation.
· You will establish a network of senior managers and decision makers existing client base, developing these relationships through calls, face-to-face meetings, presentations, networking and hosted events.

Essential
· German Native speaker
· Existing relationships in German entities active in trading
· Ability to influence and drive the companirs strategic and product plans on behalf of your client base
· Excellent business acumen with strong negotiation skills and the ability to communicate and influence high-level decision makers
· Strong ability to develop and nurture strong working relationships with ‘C’ level / senior managers / decision makers
· Proven experience of account management of German-based clients and growing a revenue base in a consultative sales or account manager position in the financial services sector.
· Financial industry experience and market knowledge, ideally within the Energy sector
