Account Executive

 

 

Scope:

 

Our Account Executives take an educational approach with our clients and provide them with a comprehensive financial analysis utilizing our client-friendly fact finding software.  This allows us to gain a true financial picture to start strategizing on the possible solutions available to accomplish our client’s goals.  Our AE’s are able to manage and implement all six steps of a successful strategy.  This insures that no outside entity will take advantage of our clients.

 

Purpose:

 

Most Americans do not know how to retire in comfort.  More importantly, they do not think that they have the resources to accomplish their goals.  They have not defined what those goals are, nor how to find the extra money to achieve them.  At 1st CFS, our Account Executive’s help our clients define their goals, find that money and implement a strategy.      

Responsibilities:

 

·         Achieve assigned sales targets

·         Consult with Sr. Account Executive on developing insightful proposals and delivering strategic sales presentations

·         Collect a complete and thorough Fact Find

·         Recognize potential cross-sell opportunities when analyzing fact find

·         Prospect for new business by identifying and qualifying sales leads generated from referrals, networking, marketing, cold-calling, and lead databases

·         Set appointments with prospective clients and meet with them in their homes, businesses, your office or other settings

·         Expand current business by consistently understanding clients’ changing needs and making appropriate recommendations

·         Resolve sales and/or delivery issues

·         Attends and contributes to company trainings and meetings

 

Qualifications:

 

·         College degree or minimum of 2 years sales experience

·         Life, Health Accident Insurance License

·         Securities License, beneficial

·         Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite of applications and the use of email.

·         Must be Internet savvy

·         Background in the total Financial Planning Principles

·         Demonstrate the ability to ‘close’, i.e., motivate customers to take action

·         Ability to effectively build credibility and rapport with clients

·         Highly coachable and trainable

·         Must be able to manage competing demands, accept criticism and constructive feedback, while being extremely adaptable and flexible.

·         Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information appropriately.

·         Must have the ability to quickly learn systems, processes, and procedures.

·         Excellent written and oral communication skills

·         Self-motivated and self-disciplined with ability to work effectively with little or no supervision
