Sales Ledger Clerk/ Accounts Assistant

An Accounts Assistant/ Sales Ledger Clerk is required to join a small finance team in Altrincham. The client, a leading manufacturing and retail business is looking to add to their finance team by recruiting an Accounts Assistant/ Sales Ledger Clerk on a full time basis. This role will be temporary with the view to becoming permanent.

Due to a recent retirement a need has arisen for an Accounts Assistant/ Sales Ledger Clerk to join the team. The role will entail processing invoices, following up over due payments, credit control as well as various other ad hoc tasks within the finance department.

The ideal candidate for this role will be immediately available and have a flexible approach to their work. You will have prior experience working within an accounts department undertaking similar tasks. An organised and efficient way of working is a must and you will be confident with the credit control aspect of the role.
