Sales Ledger/ Credit Control Clerk - Permanent - Doncaster £20,000

Hays Accountancy and Finance are delighted to be recruiting for a permanent Sales Ledger/Credit Control Clerk for a well known manufacturing company based in North Doncaster.

The purpose of this job role is to ensure the sales ledger of 2 companies are effectively managed in a way that provides a high quality of service to both internal and external customers. Your responsibilities will include but not be limited to;

Maintain the accounts receivable ledgers by completing daily checks on out standing payments
Ensure all queries are dealt with promptly
Make sure invoices are issued, matched on receipt and paid against agreed terms
Reconcile accounts receivable
Raise manual invoices for sundry sales
Ensure credit limits are applied
Run credit check reports
Prepare weekly and monthly cash flow forecasts
Reconcile bank statements to cash book for sterling and foreign bank accounts
Credit control via telephone and email

The successful candidate needs to have intermediate Excel skills and a thorough and practical understanding of sales ledger and credit control techniques.
