Sales- Leveraged Loans and Distressed Debt
The successful candidate will be an expert in the leveraged fixed income market nd will have excellent long-lasting relationships with pan-European and regional banks and other financial insitutions. He or she will be calling on those institutions to source and trade mostly distressed and illiquid leveraged loans and other credit instruments. The successful candidate will be familiar with the organizational dynamics at banks, including the trading, credit committee and portfolio management units, and work with them to facilitate trades of the target credit products. The candidate will have good knowledge of credit analysis in order to formulate pricing and trading arguments for counterpraties. He or she will build and maintain new relationships for CFE with trading managers at pan-European and regional banks and other financial insitutions by engaging in regular conversations, meetings and presentations.
Knowledge/Experience:
- Sound knowledge of fixed income markets and leveraged credit products
- Proven experience serving institutional clients
- Significant understanding of fixed income credit trading environment gained from the perspective of a sales or trading role or a portfolio management role
- Strong analytical skills
- Ability to perform in a fast-paced environment
- Preference for and demonstrated success in a team-oriented environment
- Proven ability to build relationships with external counterparties in order to achieve results
- Demonstrated ability to articulated complex issues into straight-forward client communication
